Terms of use
By downloading or using My Money you agree to these terms. Please also read the privacy policy.
The app
My Money is a personal tool for recording shifts, estimating pay and tracking payments and money you hold. It is made by ionutcm, an independent developer in the United Kingdom. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
Figures are estimates
Pay, take-home pay, tax and other totals in My Money are estimates worked out from what you enter. They are not confirmed payments and are not financial, tax or legal advice. Always check your payslip and official sources before making decisions.
My Money Pro
- My Money Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited jobs and advanced pay adjustments, and removes adverts on Android. It is not a subscription.
- The price is shown in the app by Google Play or the App Store before you buy.
- Your purchase is linked to the Google or Apple account you bought it with. Use Restore purchase in the app to unlock it again on a new phone with the same account.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their own refund policies. If a purchase is refunded, Pro features are switched off, but your records are kept.
- This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Your data and backups
Your records are stored only on your phone. You are responsible for keeping your own backups. We cannot recover data that is lost because the app was uninstalled, its storage was cleared, or the phone was lost or reset.
Adverts
The free Android version shows one advert provided by Google. We are not responsible for the content of adverts or for the websites they link to.
Acceptable use
Do not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.
Availability and changes
We may update, change or stop offering the app. We try to keep it working well, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.
Liability
The app is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect loss, or for loss caused by relying on estimates in the app or by lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
App store terms
If you downloaded My Money from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support. If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of your local consumer law.
