The app

Habit Dial is a personal daily habit tracker. It is made by ionutcm, an independent developer in the United Kingdom. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

Not medical advice

Habit Dial helps you keep track of habits you choose. It is not a medical or health app and does not give medical, health or fitness advice.

Free trial and lifetime unlock

• When you start using Habit Dial, you get a free three-day trial with all eight habits.
• After the trial, one habit stays free forever. Your other habits and history are kept, but locked.
• The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase through Google Play that unlocks all eight habits. It is not a subscription.
• The price is shown by Google Play before you buy.
• The unlock is linked to the Google account you bought it with, and can be restored on another phone with the same account.
• The trial is recorded on your phone. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data starts it again, and also deletes your habits.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own refund policy. If a purchase is refunded, the unlock is removed, but your habits are kept.
• This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Your data and backups

Your habits are stored only on your phone, and Android's cloud backup is turned off for Habit Dial. You are responsible for keeping your own backup files. We cannot recover data that is lost because the app was uninstalled, its storage was cleared, or the phone was lost or reset. If you forget your App Lock PIN and can't use fingerprint or face unlock, the only way back in is to clear the app's data.

Acceptable use

Do not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.

Availability and changes

We may update, change or stop offering the app. We try to keep it working well, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.

Liability

The app is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect loss, or for loss caused by lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law.

Google Play terms

If you downloaded Habit Dial from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of your local consumer law.
